I finally was able to get a few scans back from my vacations this summer.  I cannot explain to you just how much I love film...In truth, there are a lot of images here that are not perfect.  Maybe even all of them but to me they are priceless memories.  I can see everything in these, feel the air around me, smell the trees, the river, the campfire.  These are things that I will be less likely to forget because instead of just snapping away, I took my time.  Focused in on the moment and not just the photo.  That, to me, is more precious than gold.

This is only half of our trips this summer.  I cannot wait to get the rest of the rolls developed so I can re-live the summer all over again.

summer series | Arizona Visit

This summer has been super busy for us.  We have travelled much more than usual as well as just enjoying family time.  It has been nice even though it left me too tired or lacking the time to blog or sometimes even just take photos.  I have been using my phone for capturing memories a lot more, too.  Although they are not the best photos, my memories are at least recorded for the future.  I thought I would come by here today and just share a few favorite photos from the first trip this summer. Hopefully I will get these listed in order. (I realized as I was putting together photos for this that I really don't have a lot of photos of my other two. They just run away when the camera comes out. :( How frustrating. lol)
