Swag Bag love

I seriously LOVE paper issues swag bags. So many wonderful little goodies in one bag. Every time I go back to it I find something new to use. I pulled my October bag out the other day and decided to make a page out of just my SB goodies. This page is all about my love of all day coffee during fall.


The October Swag Bag is sold out.  (booo)  but I have it on good authority that the November bag is going to be even more spectacular.  (yahhh!)

Paper Issues "pinspire me" challenge...

There is a new pinspire me Monday post on the Paper Issues Blog.  Corri picked a lovely color scheme this time.  I made a page using the scheme to share with you all.

Sometimes it is fun to be inspired by something new.  Head on over and try it out for yourself.  Any paper project will do.  Cards, Layouts, Art Journal entries, Tags...Whatever you are inspired to try.

Jot Magazine Mood Board Challenge

I ran across a post at Jot Magazine announcing the October/November mood board challenge and just had to make a page.  The colors and the inspiration were too pretty to not make something.
The board had pretty blues, greys, yellow and red.  I usually scrap in more pinks and yellows so it was a nice change.  And it was an excuse to scrap this photo of my son.  He gets left out of the traditional pages a lot because of the abundance of pink in my supplies.  Poor kiddo.  At least my project life pages feature him more often.

Well, here is what I came up with.  It is super simple and focuses on the photo, which I love.

I used a smattering of Studio Calico, Pink Paislee, Maggie Holmes (1 + 2) and some random things from my stash.
