paper issues: pinspire me monday

There is another fabulous challenge at Paper Issues this morning.  I just love the pin this time.

The blues, browns and whites plus the grid inspired me to make this page of my girls.  I used a bakery bag I had saved from Starbucks and a few goodies from my stash to create this.

Walden | Studio Calico

I fell in love with this kit the first time I saw it.

The colors, patterns and that little deer were so perfect.  So, when SC had their sale on Black Friday I had to grab it.  I finally got a little time last night to make something with it.

I love this photo of my middle girl with my hat on.  She looks so sophisticated.  I hope she always dances to the music in her head and dresses just how she likes.  Her personality is so "spicy."

New Paper Issues Challenge

Are you all up for a new challenge?  Paper Issues has a new Pinspire Me Monday challenge up on their blog today.  This one is really fun.

Here is my page.

I LOVE triangles, color shine and stitching.  The inspiration image inspired me to play with bright colors and the different sizes of triangles.

Now, head on over to paper issues and give this a try.

Don't forget you can get 20% off your order when you use "3littleks" at checkout.

January Project Life part 1

I went a little overboard with my January pages.  Just a little.  I am going to post half today and the other half tomorrow.  I'm sure you will notice that my page protectors are all different sizes.  In fact, I cut some of the full sized protectors in half this time.  It was just a fun way to add dimension to an otherwise "flat" book.  I'm not sure that is the best idea though since my book is already getting full and it's only March.  I may need several books to finish out the year.  lol
