Good Morning!
Wow it has been a long time since I have posted anything here.  It has been so busy lately.  The end of school, the last bit of little league and summer starting about kicked out all my creative mojo.  I am slowly getting back into crafting and painting.  It feel really good.

For today I am sharing this little page of my tiny ready a book to her fox.  I was pretty impressed with the stories she was making up to go with the photos.  What an imagination she had.

Citrus Twist "Driftwood" and Add-On + The Cut Shoppe cut file

I absolutely loved this triangle cut file.  I actually cut the whole 12x12 page out but only used a small strip for this page.  I wanted to keep it a little bit more simple with the bright busy patterns I was using on the rest of the page.
Oh and I am pretty sure that little bird in my fave.  It was so hard not to just hoard it for it's cuteness.

Well, that is it for today.  Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

i love right now | gossamer blue

Good Morning!

I have a fun page for you today made with the September Main Kit from Gossamer Blue.  This kit is seriously gorgeous.  It is so full of whimsy.
This page was literally thrown together by just cutting out papers and seeing how I could fit them on the page.  Sometimes I like to be random like that.  haha  In the end I loved how it came out.  It is ver different for me but I felt it suited the photo really well.

Have you ever just randomly made a page without thought or plan?  How did it turn out?  I'd love to see!

hello good life | pink paislee

(disclaimer: This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of lillylanephoto. I do receive financial compensation and products from American Crafts to develop certain blog posts, but all of the ideas and opinions are my own.)

I have something awesome to share with you today.  Well, awesome to me anyway.  I made a FULL PAGE layout!  It is 12x12 and nearly every inch has something on it.  NOT my usual style but I really love how it came out.

the layout:

Even with all the extras on here, it was a super easy page to create.  I used one of my favorite tools, my silhouette cameo, to create the number strip and the circles.  All that was left was to layer on the details.  I think my favorite thing has to be the gold thickers.  They add some pop and draw your eye straight down to the photos.  Oh and by the way, the photos are extra special to me.  I shot those with my Nikon film camera...on manual.  I was so proud of myself when I got the scans back.  haha
Also, frames are really hard for me to use.  I struggle with placing them over my photos since they never really fit.  Here I just added them as another element to the page and layered them with the thickers and other elements.  I think I just may try using frames more often, just in more unconventional ways.

Teeny Tiny Dollhouse | Bella Rouge Project

So today my little girl asked if we could make a dollhouse with my Silhouette Cameo.  Can't say no to that!  I knew that the Bella Rouge Collection from Pink Paislee would be perfect.  She loves Pink and Black together so I grabbed up the Rainbow Bright paper.  The one with the unicorns on one side and the black and white pattern on the other.  I love that the opposite patterns really compliment each other with this little house.  She is playing with her little mini Mooshka doll pets in it now.  The best way to spend the afternoon with my little munchkin.

We used pattern #26903 by A Little Hut in the Silhouette Store.  I didn't have a mat long enough for the original size so I sized it to fit a 12x12 sheet of paper.

this is you | paper issues cut file

On Saturday a new FREE cut file was posted at Paper Issues.  I didn't have time to play with it before it went live so I made something on Saturday to share here with you.

I just grabbed up the memory planner goodies from PI and couldn't wait to play with them.  I don't have the planner binder yet but there was so much to use I figured I could make a page while I waited.  These polka dots and flowers were calling my name.

As always, head on over to Paper Issues to grab the free cut file and link up to win a swag bag.  Cassie's swag bags are amazing so you don't want to miss grabbing one for yourself.

Don't forget if you are in the mood for some shopping, use the code "3littleks" to get 20% off in the Paper Issues store.

happiness is a state of mind

Ever since Christmas when I opened up the Silhouette my family bought me, I have been crazy for hybrid.  I see every digital product as a potential "print and cut" project.  This new set of photo templates by Paislee Press is no exception.

minimalist

I usually don't print dimensional items because they just don't tend to look "real" but this gorgeous blue flower was just screaming to be used.  I think it came out alright,
