I finally was able to get a few scans back from my vacations this summer. I cannot explain to you just how much I love film...In truth, there are a lot of images here that are not perfect. Maybe even all of them but to me they are priceless memories. I can see everything in these, feel the air around me, smell the trees, the river, the campfire. These are things that I will be less likely to forget because instead of just snapping away, I took my time. Focused in on the moment and not just the photo. That, to me, is more precious than gold.
These are just a few of the photos from some of the places we were this summer.

This is only half of our trips this summer. I cannot wait to get the rest of the rolls developed so I can re-live the summer all over again.
Now that you have made it all the way through my post, please continue on to Tricia Burrough. I am sure she has something magical for you.
